Was in Myrtle Beach Fri evening through Sun mid day and
it's getting back to normal. We ate at 3 restaurants, dine in, and other than the employees wearing masks and gloves, wiping down the menus and tables between seatings and only seating every other table, it pretty much seemed like business as normal. They did still have a somewhat reduced menu but the menus were still pretty full of options. Only a hand full of customers with masks, probably less than 5%. A couple of the restaurants did have hand sanitizer stations all over the place with signs saying, please use me. Walked by one beach bar restaurant and they did not seem to be doing any spacing and it looked packed and just like I would have expected it pre-corona. On the streets there were a few people wearing masks but still a very small percentage.
The beach was, what I would consider, pretty full. More people than I expected and pretty much nobody had a mask. I got some overhead beach shots from the place we were staying that I'll try to upload tomorrow. [Post edited by coshokie at 05/17/2020 11:43PM]
